Getting Started
- We teach three programs: Little Ninjas (4–6), Kids Karate (7–11), Teen & Adult Martial Arts (12+). Each program is taught with age-appropriate instruction.
- If you're starting a child, begin with the Parent & Child Starter Package for $19.99. It includes 3 beginner-friendly karate lessons, 1 private session with a black belt instructor, 1 official crescent moon karate t-shirt, one parent trains with one child. Training on your own as a teen or adult? Call or text 323-591-0307 and we'll set up your first class.
- No. The starter lessons are beginner-friendly, and one parent trains alongside one child.
Classes
- Classes are never more than 12 students, so every student gets personal attention.
- Classes run Monday–Thursday and Saturday. Monday/Tuesday is Foundation Training and Wednesday/Thursday is Warrior Training, both starting with Little Ninjas at 4:10 p.m. and ending with Teen / Adult Karate at 7:15 p.m. Saturday is Elite Training, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The full weekly schedule is on /calendar.
- We encourage at least twice per week. Consistent training is what turns effort into habit.
- Hanshi Robert Torres founded the school in 2008 and leads instruction.
Logistics
- We're at 5280 W. Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90019, in Mid-City Los Angeles.
- Street parking is available on Pico Blvd and nearby streets. Arrive a few minutes early so you're not rushing in.
- Comfortable clothes they can move in. The Parent & Child Starter Package includes one official Crescent Moon Karate T-shirt.
